Anaglyph View in 3dsMax??
Posted in: 3DS MaxI just want to know whether 3dmax asupport anaglyphic view.i havent checked 2011,but still i dont have any idea about it.I saw a rig in maya and found that it supports.
i know that there are lots of 3rd party scripts available for stereocams, but havent found a one for the anaglyphic view.:radar:
I have a setup with 20 elements feeding a switch node along with a NoOp with a dropdown to select which element is being passed downstream. I’d like to add a function that will get the value of the switch and then disable all other elements/switch inputs. Is this possible?
Thank you,
Craig
[Script] bf_ConnectWire
Posted in: Fusion Scripts & PluginsI use Wireless Link Fuses a lot. I don’t like to drag and drop each Connection and also if you copy a Wireless Link Fuse then the Input is lost.
So I created this little script which you can assign to a hotkey if you wish (that’s the only reason why I wrote it as eyeonscript and not python script).
It connects the first non Wireless tool in the selection to all Wireless Inputs in the selection.
So imagine you select a Background and 10 Wireless Tools, run the script and the Background is now connectec to all Wireless Tools.
Feel free to test or use it and write some feedback.

Mental Ray 64-bit Dirtmap Shader
Posted in: Maya
This is a dirtmap mental ray shader that I compiled for Maya on Windows 64-bit and Mac OS X 64-bit. It has been tested with Maya 8.5 and 2011 on Windows 64 bit and Maya 2011 on Mac OS X. I had to update the code slightly to get it to compile for x64. By connecting the dirtmap shader to a surface shader in Maya you can render an occlusion pass. If you want smoother shading for the occlusion pass increase the sample setting to something higher than 16.
Download the Dirtmap Shader for Windows 64-bit Maya.*
*Note: On Windows the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) is required.
Download the Dirtmap Shader for Mac OS X 64-bit (Maya 2011).
