hi .im from malaysia and i will graduated for my diploma (3d animation) next year .i want to take a degree / diploma of visual effect and Cinematography. VFS is my dream school but the problem is my family’s financial problem.im still a student i don want to ask my family to pay money for me to the course.if i take a job before to take a course, i think i have to spend alot of year can get the money to go….the tuition fees of VFS is damm high ==
…can i know where can find the loan or scholarship for oversea student to take the course? or any way to enter in or what country/ school are good in VFX/cinamatography?im really love VFX and Cinematography

how can i find my points in a point cloud from PT farm, so can no where an exact posistions is in 3D space, i know ther is a hotkey or something, but i can’t remeber. trying to have my 3d card stay in postion as my camera rotates around.

In Nuke6.0v7, when i drop the pic format file to the nuke node graph thumbnail view is not showing anything and in the viewport also we are not able see anything, same for sgi. his nuke didn’t support the pic, sgi format. can anyone pls explain me, advance thanx.

I’ve completed a track in Boujou that is 95% of the way there, but there is a slight distortion in the camera solve where the 3D scene containing the solved points is ‘stretched’, which in my experience is due to a slight offset in the camera solve’s focal length.

In PF-Track, the matchmoving software that I’m more familiar with, you have the Focal Length Tool, which gives you a hand’s on way of estimating the focal length before solving the camera.

What’s Boujou’s method of dealing with this problem?
Are there various tools that can help?
