Daft Punk vs Tron vs Tron Legacy

Invisible curves?

I got an issue with Nuke (6.0v3) on my Mac that I can’t figure out. In nodes like the ColorLookup and HueCorrect the actual curves are invisible. When I open the nodes properties up I can see the curves, but as soon as I click on them or try to change them they disappear and I can only see the handles for the points. They become invisible like this until I close the properties for the node and open it up again. I can still work with it but it’s really starting to annoy me because I have to guess what my curve looks like while I modify it. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Volume Light & VRay render element

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know how to render volume light in a separate render element in VRay?

It would be great to be able to tweak volume light separately in post.
Any help or advice is appreciated!

Generating an AO pass from your Nuke 3d scene from ScanlineRender?

Is it possible to generate a AO pass for your geometry and cards in your 3d scene in nuke? From the scanline render? I know you can generate depth, motion vectors and also the surface point and normal vectors where you can relight but is it possible to give that AO depth to your objects in Nuke? Is the only way to do that is to generate a AO pass in your 3d program?

VFX 403 [WIP] – Jingles

Long time lurker, first time poster. I guess its time I tried my hand at one of these challenges.

Well is sept and that means football, so i’m thinking of creating product style commercial that would play during a game.
