VFV 404 (WIP)

Hi guys

I have left this very late… as usual.
Part of the reason, is i was waiting to get hold of a HD camera, but it was not to be so I’ve had to modify my plans to go fully CG…
but that being said i might still shoot something on SD… but time will tell.

So i am posting what i have so far.

Story is the normal one of Zombies attacking and mankind taking refuge in … well… a refuge:)

BTW , some of the posting on here are fantastic , nice work and good luck to everyone.

VFX 404 [WIP] Yossarian

Hello all

This is my first post on these boards. The zombie challenge seemed like fun so I thought I’d throw my hat in the ring. Here’s the first version of my animatic. It’s just one shot clocking in at 15 seconds. Right now it feels a little tight so I’ll revise the animatic tonight and move it towards 20-25 seconds.

Regarding the length, am I reading the rules correctly when I read them to mean your submission must be no shorter than 15 seconds but no longer than 30 seconds?

VFX404 – [WIP] Team Frantic

We’ve actually been talking about it since the beginning of last week, but didn’t want to start a WIP until it was really happening, and we just managed to get some actors and do a mini road-trip to the desert near San Diego and shoot it today so it’s finally starting to come together.

I’ll post up some storyboards or the animatic shortly. We are going a bit of a different direction with the bad weather theme… 🙂

VFX 404 [WIP] joshfilms

Well I really hope to finish in time. My project is going to be pretty ambitious, I think but it will be a lot of fun and a great learning experience.

I plan to make a minute to a minute and half Zombie short full of VFX of course. Some big ones and more subtle invisible ones, I hope :).

Here’s my storyboard. I’ll be shooting it on my T2i and for post I’ll be using AE, PS, C4D, PFmatchit, Premier Pro and Zbrush.

Hi Guys!

Back again:)
I’ll try to finish this one.

The story is happening at night on a forrest road.
A car is coming and stopping because of a puncture. A girl gets off, and things go wild.
I’m planning to develop a full short story, I try to tell this in 30 sec.

Will post concept soon.
