VFX/ Motion Graphic Artist Required (London)

We are a team of audio/visual artist seeking a Visual Effects/ Motion Graphic Artist to come on board with us, currently we are working on an Green Issue Event based Documentary that entails radical spoken word, speeches and discussions for dissemination primarily under Myndz Community – Social Media Initiative.

A hugely collaborative project, gathered HD video and photography footage earlier this month and are hoping a creative, talented individual that can give us advice and then work on a graphic, VFX transition between certain sections of the documentary.

Some experience is necessary, but creativity essential. As this is a low budget film, you will not be paid, but will of course be credited prominently.email: jotheek[at]gmail[dot]com

Thank You in Advance.

change the button’s label using script

Hi, i use python create a button. I want to be able to change the label on that button as i press that button. example : i made hide/show button, so if i press that button , it will toggle its own label between show – hide.

i use command : setLabel() . no error but the label doesn’t change until i refresh the panel. Refreshing the parameter bin is the way to to see the new label applied. So anyone know how to ‘force’ refresh by using script ? any idea ?

thanx.

nuke.nodes.Read()

hi, i use python to create a Read node.

Code:

nuke.nodes.Read(file="~/path/file.mov")

it creates a node with frame range 1-1. So to get the full clip range i have to enter manually using ‘last=’ :

Code:

nuke.nodes.Read(file="~/path/file.mov",last=50)

Is there any way to automtically get the framerange from a movie file, without explicitely using ‘last’ ?

thanx

I need some masking help. And I’m paying :-)

Hey guys,
I’m shooting a music video and need help on getting a couple of things done. The first thing is to have the side of an ice cream truck masked out and then have a new sign placed on it.

The second thing is to have the drivers shirt changed from blue to white or maybe just have the window tinted out a bit to hide him.

Please email me a link to some samples of your work and we can work it out from there.

Email: jayekko@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Jay
