How to generate camera position from P?

Hi guys:

im trying to calculate specular while do relight in NUKE with P and N,
thus i need the vector of viewer position
im not a programmer and new to this ,i’ve just done diffuse calculating so far.
sorry if stupid questions

here are my questions:
How to generate camera position from P
How to transform P world space to camera space?
How to generate p camera space from Z depth?

somebody help me~

Proper RF water&foam rendering with maya

Hey guys,

I really need an advice. I’ve seen amazing results with C4D and 3dmax’s Krakatoe…. but how can I do it properly with maya??? (don’t want to start learning max/c4d now)

I have the water and foam both in mesh and particles. I can create nice clean water with dialectic material but then I can’t figure out a proper foam shader.

Any suggestions??
the end result should be a high resolution dirty flood water.

Pf track match moving

I’m new to pftrack and I am doing a cg into live shot but I’m having some trouble getting my room and floor matched up.
Any suggestions?:eek:

3dsmax camera info in AE Lensblur

Hi,

If I’m using the Zdepth pass from 3dsmax I use it in AE in combination the Lens blur effect. But how can I match the blur information with the camera lens en fov from 3dsmax? I’m not really into lenses and cameras and not fammiliar with the lens blur settings.

How do you guys do this?

Matte Painters for Short film (PAID GIG)

Hi,

We are currently in need for a few digital matte painters to create some photorealistic war torn environments set at night (similar to Green Zone and Black Hawk Down). You will be provided a base render to paint on top and work from and tons of texture references and material.

Ability to break up the matte painting so that it can be passed over to compositor to use in 3D compositing (nuke) to create camera projections on objects and parallax is important.

This is a paid gig, although not as high as usual studios rate.
