Howdy,
Shooting a greenscreen short, set in the 1930s depression-era American South, which will utilise completely CG backgrounds. The backgrounds will consist of outdoor areas and environments, such as the outside of a house, and mostly dark and creepy woods.
Need someone who can make that look badass and very stylised, as the final product will be completely rotoscoped. Complete photo-real detail therefore is not necessary, but the fluidity that matches camera movement certainly is.
We’re also planning on filming some action sequences handheld, so that should also be taken into consideration for the backgrounds.
Please send me your demo reels that contain background modelling, preferably with plenty of camera movement.

Hi, just did first render from my new rig, and 3D MAX renders suspiciously slow. But viewport and over all program running lightning fast.
Is there any settings I’m missing?
WIN 7-64, CPU I7 920 at 3.2 GHZ, 12 GB DDR3, ATI FirePro 8700.
When rendering, CPU load is between 15-70%??? Is all render handles by Video card?

How to remove Dolly Track from footage

We are going to shoot some scenes with a dolly. The dolly stays in front of the actor and moves backwards over a rails. Before we are going to shoot this I would like to know what’s the best approach for removing the rails from the footage…? I was thinking about patching every 10 frames or so…
Some tips?

Motor to Nuke

I need to import motor rotos to Nuke. I know there is a script which should allow to do it but as the whole highend3d and fxshare site got reorganized lately it seems that that plugin also got lost. At least the old links do not work for it anymore:

Hey guys, practicing nuke keying with multiple mattes. Hoping that I am not using key mix in overkill. Please take a look at my image and let me know if there is a simpler way to accomplish a better, more streamline key.
