Store Predefind Animation

Hi
I have question i would like to do a workflow of Animation for Fusion how i do it in Maya 3d Package. But i dont know whether it is Possible in Fusion.

So lets say i have a bunch of Nodes wich have to be animated.
And i want to make a Dummy Control like a Null Node where i store all the Atributes from my different Nodes wich needs to be animate.

In Maya we call this method : Set driven Key.

So the trick or thinking behind the idea is to Animate lets say a transform, scale and size Attribute of a Node i defined before without setting key on a Timeline.

And this method i want to do with a bunch of Nodes wich will be stored all in my dummy Controller.

And later when i want to Animate the Nodes over my Controler as a Timeline Animation i only need to Animate the Predefined Attribut. And i have a better overview of my animated Nodes.

I hope you guys understand what i mean, and can give me some tips how to do this.

I also put a attachement of a Maya Screenshot how it could looks
like in Maya.

Thanks

ctrl-z issues

Has anyone had an issue with using ctrl-z?

In the last few days I’ve encountered several artists that have used the function only to have their comp revert to an version hours old and therefore losing a lot of work. It seems to be connected to hitting the ctrl-z function twice

I’ve been able to replicate it once but not since.

Thanks

mip_cameramap with an image sequence ?

I’m just trying to render out a sequence of a matchmove and a couple of 3d objects in maya.
I essentially just wanted a quick jpg sequence to view back as a preview.

Very very simple scene, just a sphere sitting on a box and the box has the mip_matteshadow applied to it.
Utilising the typical workflow (rayswitch enviroment/mirrorball/cameramap) that is outlined in the ‘production’ pdf on the mental images website.

I’ve changed the default Mentalray Texture Node with the maya File Node and loaded the ‘back plate’ image sequence with the Use Image Sequence cheked.
In the Render Current Frame it all looks good and I can scrub through the timeline and everything lines up but when I Batch Render only the first frame is correct. As the box with the mip_matteshadow appears to be using the first frame (basically just looks weird!).

Any thoughts or ideas how to work around this for now ?
