.MTS File problems

I recently bought a Panasonic HDC-TM300. When I tried to look back at the files, I could’nt play any of them properly and I used several programs aswell. When I try to play the clips, the video starts and then glitches, but the sound plays just fine. I used FFDShow but it hasn’t shown much improvement. Can anyone help me out?
-Thanks
