Scene in a comedic film needs a top-notch visual effects supervisor / compositor. The scene is simulating two tandem skydivers in free-fall having a conversation as they plummet to the ground. Plan is to shoot in studio with wire rigging and ritters, as well as incorporate real diving footage. Wed like to get you in on that dialogue in pre-pro, and to have you on set for the 2-3 day shoot in April. The VFX post can be done on your own schedule.
Fee: $6,000 12,000 DOE

I’ve tried and tried, maybe I’m missing something, but I just can’t get particular integrated in a match moved scene.
The situation:
I’ve successfully tracked a shot using the inbuilt CameraTracker and I’ve added a few test objects and a dense point cloud generator to the scene for reference.
I’ve then set up a Particular node and created a basic coloured smoke effect.
I’ve tried to hook this up in various ways, copying the parameters from the tracked camera to the Particular camera, hooking the particular node directly up to the original match moved scene, or connecting the 2 scenes together individually. Nothing seems to work.
Is this even possible? I’m sure it must be, I mean, I can’t be the first guy to want to integrate particular effects into a tracked live action plate…can I? lol.
Thanks in advance.

We are creating a short visual effects film.
“A man is stricken with a television for his head and finds it difficult to hide his displaying emotions from a beautiful girl he meets on the train.”
The live action film is shot entirely on the 5D mkii located in the london underground. “Scart” the character struggles with his emotions throughout the film portrayed as 2d animation. unable to control his thoughts, he eventually becomes overwhelmed. His imagination ensues…
