The Making of Turning Point
Posted in: 1Peeling Bottle
Posted in: 3DS MaxI have been trying to achieve a peeling effect for a while now in 3DS Max but appears there is no sensible way to do this. Any suggestions on how to do this?
Here is what I was able to do:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_hTFd_u3t0
How I achieved it:
– Used extruded Helix to imprint (Pro Booleans) on the bottle.
– Created bones along the helix
– Created Spine IK
– Skinned the bottle (Painful process)
Problem: When I animated the points created from the Spline IK, the bones would get all twisted and stuff – hence the foil look.
Any suggestions on how to achieve all of this easier?
Thanks

I created anew library, but everytime I try export, it will switch to EXPORT(IO – Read only).
How do I solve this so I can export from Flame again?
