In some threads the vimeo videos don’t play. You only see the animated vimeo logo. I contacted vimeo and they said it had to do with the embed code. The Vimeo embed option on this forum gives the problems.
So instead of using [ VIMEO][/ VIMEO] you have to go to your vimeo video and click on the embed button. It will give you the code and you have to paste that in you’re post.

although all the UK courses are specific to visual effects which i really want. because i have a graduation in multimedia plus i have 1 yr of industry exposure thats i dont want to go for 3 yr program learning all the basics n all again.
now we all know UK houses have also given few admirable works in visual effects.
plus its just 1 yr so i m planning to go for i yr course at uk …
please help me selecting a good institute and country and deciding the pathway to VFX industry.

I’ve got a doubt, I couldn’t try it as I should yet, but does anyone know if a gradient ramp can make a curve displacement in a subdivided plane on max?
I tried a few times and I allways get a linear ramp (I use photoshop or ilustrator maps for the gradient) but never a soft curved one.
Thanks.
