Digital set replacement WIP shot

Hi everyone!

I’ve got a couple of demo reel shots I’ve been working on that I’d love some feedback on. Right now they both feel about 85% there, but I’ve been staring at them so long, I can’t figure out where to go from here.

First is this old Star Trek bridge replacement shot. I wish I’d thought this through before getting really far on it, I’m not sure using TV show material like this was a good idea.

Next is a shot I did for an fxphd challenge, but I’d love any feedback on how I can complete the shot. I think something feels off but I don’t know if it’s the grade or the texturing of my model.

Both include some simple breakdowns of progress so far.

Thanks for checking these out!
