So inside nuke’s project settings I wrote: 50fps
But nothing changed.
Writing it out at 50fps works on speed but the quality suddenly became worse.
Hope one has a quick hint for me… didn’t find an answer on google or so.
Thank you in advance! 🙂

Recently i’ve got some greenscreen shots to composite, shot on RED ONE with new MX sensor. Since REDCINE-X is capable of simple .R3D trimming and NUKE can work with .R3Ds, i am just wondering what would be the most effective/correct way to handle them, and pull a good key from it. Do i have to decide and develop my RAWs to desired look first and than key somehow, or what would be the best way to do it ? LIN/LOG ? Output will be HD Rec.709, or sRGB wor web. What kind of lookup shall i use ?
Do you guys have some workflow advise for me ? Thanx a lot, Klasmen.
The VFX needed is a shot of a suburban street that we require to have some light surface water/flooding. We attempted to shoot it practically on set but ended up not having access to enough water for the look we wanted.
The film is shot at 4K resolution but intented to be finished at 2K so a fair amount of detail in the animation will be required although a good amount of it will be out of focus.
If you are interested or would like more information please feel free to throw me an email and I can send you some pictures/graphics etc. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Is this red and black matte usable in Nuke? Or would I have to convert it somehow to black and white only?
Does anyone have an example Nuke script I can check out, to do a simple composite of applying a matte to an image?
Im sure I can find a way to apply the matte to the image, and composite over a checkerboard, but Id rather know the correct way to do this.
Just for reference, the animation is a mountain peak, which is supposed to have the top half matted out, so I can composite over a sky.
If anyone can do a mockup of this or something similar, with a checkerboard, that would be great, I just dont know how to get the mountain image to read the matte to get the transparency.
Thanks.
