The movie features many wonderful actors from the UK and includes guest stars Elaine C Smith (Rab C Nesbitt, Calendar Girls), Simon Weir (The Acid House, How Not To live Your Life) and Colin McCredie (Taggart, Shallow Grave).
Our main visual effects artist, Mathew Crisp, is looking for an assistant to help him work on the effects in the film – lightning blasts from our hero’s hands – glowing eyes – floating creatures – explosions etc – in return for 1% net profit each, on successful sale of the film.
Trailers, behind the scenes videos and information can be found at http://www.nightisday.net.
You can see our sizzle reel with samples of the effects Mat has created so far at http://vimeo.com/21071576.
We are happy for the visual effects animators to work from home and can send out the clips that require special effects to the animators.
We’re aiming to take a preview of the film to the American Film Market in November and ideally we’ll have a version of the film to show to potential distributors this Summer.
If you are interested please send samples to contact@sillyweefilms.com with your CV.
Thank you.
