Ray fire study material
Posted in: 3DS MaxI want some material on rayfire for detailed study. please help me out as i need it in a 3dsmax based pipeline.
On a workstation — which was using an NVidia Quadro FX 3800
graphics card — I’ve been able to view OpenGL stereo through
the Stereo option in the Viewer.
I’m now trying to find a laptop which uses a mobile graphics card
that supports OpenGL stereo viewing. On paper, it looks like
the Quadro FX 2800m graphics card will work — has anyone
tried viewing in stereo with this card?
In addition, I’ve also been looking into the NVidia GTX 460m
card. It’s a highly rated card and supports OpenGL. However,
it’s not a "Quadro" card. To support OpenGL stereo, does Nuke
specifically look for the "Quadro" signature or does it evaluate
the card in another way? Has anyone used a GTX card to view
OpenGL stereo in Nuke?
Thanks very much.

So this is my 7th project I’m working on now… This time we have to solve a pan scene with 2 helper images so that we get correct points in 3D space. I’ve tried it a whole bunch of times, and what I’ve attached are 2 of the only remotely "ok" ones I have. Can someone please give me help or advice on how to change this to actually get a good solve?? It seems terrible at the moment 🙁

Max blending mode
Posted in: Digital Fusion / DFX+My current job uses fusion and its my first time using it. Ive been trying to translate my nuke techniques to fusion, but have had some trouble finding some of the math operations.
The node ive been digging around for the most is the "Max" operation. Is there an equivalent in fusion or has someone made a gizmo for it that is easily accessible?
Thnx
