Tron Legacy

Dovremo aspettare ancora un anno per vedere il film Tron Legacy, seguito di Tron. Tron, del 1982 prodotto dalla Walt Disney, diretto da Steven Lisberger e interpretato da Jeff Bridges, è considerato un film di riferimento nel campo della realtà virtuale e dell’animazione. L’azione si svolge all’interno di un computer, o per precisione, di un videogioco.

Il film non ebbe il successo che la Disney si aspettava ma diventò un film di culto tanto che alle fine degli ’90 si vociferava di un possibile seguito. Ma solo nel 2005 lo studio annunciò di aver commissionato la sceneggiatura e nel luglio 2009 fu presentato il promo di Tron Legacy al San Diego Comic-Con. La regia del film è di Joseph Kosinski e l’attore Jeff Bridges è ancora il protagonista. Gli effetti speciali vengono realizzati dalla Digital Domain e Quantum Creation FX.

You may have noticed the lack of updates on vfxblog recently. Sorry about that – I’ve been finding it easier to link to visual effects news and articles via Twitter. So there’s now a Twitter feed in the right hand column.

mesh problem
