What is the trend in professional studios?
Dublin-based directing team, D.A.D.D.Y., has once again laid there quirky hand on an unlikely brand. In association with Mother, London and Blink Ink, they’ve created four fake, animated PSAs for the “British Biscuit Advisory Board” (Rocky Biscuits) to promote safe biscuit-eating practices.
Both the characters and copy are rendered with a classic, dry British wit. Here’s all four of the films: Temp Storage, Quality Control, Opening Education & Meal Health.
Client: Rocky
Agency: Mother, London
Production Company: Blinkink, London
Director: D.A.D.D.Y
Producer: James Bretton
Editor: D.A.D.D.Y
Audio Post-Production: Factory Studios
greedz!
Unbelievable illustration talent … Rafael Grampá spent four years as AD at LOBO and is now freelancing. His first solo graphic novel Mesmo Delivery launched at Comic Con last year … his next one, Furry Water is due out in 2010.
So in my case I have to remove an unwanted shadow (camera shadow) which first moves around on the floor (while the camera is rotating around a car so there is NO static floor) and then the camera shadow touches the car and moves around on the surface of the car.
I personally have no REAL idea how to fix this and it’s frustrating as hell.
Any ideas welcome.
For anybody who wants to remove something in a static background: Just hold one frame (freeze frame) and remove the object with the paint node (clone) and then if say a character is overlapping this area just mask it, easy as pie.
Now i saw on many company sites that they request, shake OR Nuke knowledge as a compositor. And I’ am not that familiar with nuke.
Are their much differences on those two?

WATCH THIS NOW! If you missed the live stream yesterday at 2:15 pm EST, take this opportunity and watch the Alexander McQueen Plato’s Atlantis show in Paris. Without a doubt, the visionary designer never fails at bringing forth fascinating and visually titillating shows that blow your effin mind. If you need another incentive to see one of the world’s most creative brains bring art to life, there’s some hot sexy booby action in the beginning to reel you in.
My name is Markus Bohman, from Sweden, and it feels great to be a part of this forum. I am 30 years old and have been making commercials, music videos and shorts for a while now. To introduce myself the best, take a look at my latest short “The Commitment” that premiers in Januari. Hopefully at the Gothenburg film festival.

The movie is shot on RED during 3 days in may. The full movie (not in trailers) contains alot of VFX (compositing, animation, key, fire etc) and we have spent the last 3 months completing them all. Dealing with the problems/benefits of RED etc
Right now we are waiting for our appointment for grading and then it´s pretty much ready for the 35 print.
Hope to hear from you soon!
