Weather Change

Hey guys,

whats your opinion on the overall composite of this shot?

Is there anything about the sky and fog which does not fit or sticks out?

There also is some rain falling down, but subtle ^^

Find and Replace Comps? (for multi artist workflow)

I’m looking for a way to replace all of the instances of a precomp that I have inside a much larger main comp with a new version of the precomp, imported from a diffrent project and that can’t be prerendered(collapse transforms has to still work).

Basically opt. drag but automatically and down through every precomp layer.

So I have…

Main comp A
{

subcomp A
{
comp to replace A
}

subcomp B
{
comp to replace A
}

subcomp C,D,E...
}
so I want to replace “comp to replace A” inside of subcomp A – Z
without manually going into each subcomp and option dragging

It seems there should be a script for this but I haven’t been able to find anything.

Anybody got any good ideas here?

The problem is that I have a multiple artists working on the diffrent subcomps and need to get the “comp to replaces” to all link to the same comp when we import each project file with the finished subcomps. (otherwise I end up with a “comp to replace” for each artist and cant make global changes)

Thanks!

Udnerstand Shuffle, copy and Shuffle copy

Please im very confusing about channels management and i have some doubts about this process. First i would like to understand what happen in the process of COPY channel copy node, with this node does i copy a channel of a node A and ADD in the channel of Node B or simply there is a replace of channe A´s channel for B´s channels? I posted a file where i copied the green channel of A to Blue Channel of B, but the image B´s color changed to blue; this i dont understood, if i am compying the channel of A to B why do the image A changed? When does i use shuffle to swap channels i am change just the numbers of luminanci that channel? For example 8bit that have 256 colors in each channel. Or simply the value that input how red outpu how green? And what happen in the shuffle copy, Does the values that enter in a channel are diverted to other channel? Would i like to now in a detailed techinal language what happen in these nodes.

Thank you

Object package for compositing?

I just shot a bunch of interviews against a plain (but well lit) background. There’s a lot of empty room on the shots, so I plan to fill them with photographic objects like plants or lamps.

I’m new to compositing, so I’m looking for a recommendation of a good pack of stock objects/photos ready for compositing (alpha channel) that I could buy!

Thanks
