Master Thesis Download Link

I’ve decided to place my Master Thesis in my blog.
This Dissertation was given an 18, in a scale from 0 to 20 by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. I think this proves the value and the knowledge that I gathered during the entire year. It’s in Portuguese but there’s an Abstract written in English in the Index section.

RealFlow5 patch, version 5.0.1.0152, ready!

Hello folks,

For all of you RealFlow users, a nice update.
The first RealFlow5 patch, version 5.0.1.0152, has been released.

Plenty of bug fixes, plus some enhancement to make everybody happy:

error

can any one solve my problem am getting an error called(encountered an improper argument) when am trying to import r export any file from Maya real flow plug-in is this a problem with real flow plug-in r with maya i am not able to now and am using maya 2010 64bit win 7 64bit and am not getting any prob in xp

Realflow SD import issue.

Hello gentleman,

I had encounter a problem, after applying the extrude nurbs to an object, making it editable and applying triangulate in Cinema 4D 11.5, when I use the export .sd plugin I can see 3 different elements, the .sd file exports fine, but when importing from Realflow 5 it recognizes 3 different elements that when imported don’t sit on the plane, but far above, and it’s impossible to center them.
I had attached to image files with the results, hopefully someone can provide guidance on how to set them properly. Please view the screen capture on the link ahead.

exploding the head of a statue

Can anyone give me a good approach to achieving the effect of exploding the head of a statue that has been sculpted in mud. I have the statue created and the mud looking good. I’m having trouble simulating the explosion effect as if there is dynamite inside the head. I have tried the attractor demon with a negative value but not getting anything nice.

Kill Daemons aren’t killing?

I have a question for any Real flow expert who can help me out. I have set up a scene with 4 vases sitting in a pebble pool. Each vase has water coming out of it. What I am trying to do with this is that when the water hits the pebbles the water dies out. So I thought to use the kill daemon and set it up to kill the fluid when interacting with the pebbles. I am a beginner user and I don’t know what I am doing wrong but I want to leave some screen caps of what my settings are and to see what I need to do. Any help is great, in the mean time im going to watch tutorials and see if i can fix my mistake.

Maya plugin error help

I am using RealFlow 4.3 and the latest plugins for maya that I found are for 8.5 version. I work with Maya 2009 and recently am trying to switch to 2011 but even with 2009 the plugins give me this error when trying to load them:
//Error: Plug-in, "realflowmesher" was compiled against too old a version of the Maya API and is thus incompatible with the current Maya version. (realflowmesher) //

Could anyone tell me where I can get a more recent version for those plugins or if there is a way to fix this problem?
