Anaglyph View in 3dsMax??

hi,
I just want to know whether 3dmax asupport anaglyphic view.i havent checked 2011,but still i dont have any idea about it.I saw a rig in maya and found that it supports.
i know that there are lots of 3rd party scripts available for stereocams,but havent found a one for the anaglyphic view.:radar:

VRAY Flicker problem!!

hi, i am trying to render a scene done in 3ds max in vray and its coming out fine,excpet for a flicker problem.its like a rock terrain with a tree in the centre of it and lots of mountains.i have applied a mixture of noise texture and a ground image with falloff on the ground.i have a link in the WIP section of Vfxtalk itself for the reference..

Max to Fusion

Does anyone know the best way to get a full 3Ds Max scene with camera and model animation into Fusion?

I’ve tried the FBX export from Max and I can bring the scene into Fusion, but the model is screwed up inside Fusion. The model has a number of separate parts and when I bring the scene into Fusion some pieces of the model are randomly offset in space from where they’re suppose to be.

Has anyone had this problem? If so please help me out here!

Backburner Strips Error

Question: I’m rendering a small animation using 3DS Max with Mental ray & using Backburner to render. On the stitching process I get error message" Error loading strip" Any clue? Files are all there

krakatoa and thinking particles 4.0

It is always retrieving particles while i use krakatoa 1.5 to render the thinking particles 4.0 ‘s particles….without result ,after canceling the render, the 3ds max goes dead…:confused:
just 8000 particles..

Help – Catapult simulation/animation

Hi there,

We are working on a short animation where we need to shoot an object with a catapult.

I’ve tried the realflow community first but they suggested me to "instead of simulating the shot it would be easier to animate it with latice/deformers" in 3dsmax. Now I am wondering how to do this. What would be the quickest and realistic way?

I coudn’t find much information about this so I hope you guys can help me out.

Ray fire study material

hi all,
I want some material on rayfire for detailed study. please help me out as i need it in a 3dsmax based pipeline.

Render buffer – how you handle the problem?

I`ve been using 3ds Max for some time now, and what really bothers me is the lack of any frame buffer. You make a test render, for a lighting setup for example, and every next render overwrites the previous. The only way is to clone the buffer and this is so frustrating 😡
Is there any other way to compare the renderings? Or maybe Autodesk will fix this someday. Why they don`t do it like in Maya for example?
