Green screen question

To my surprise, I just received a over the shoulder 2 shot on green screen with a rack focus.

The green screen does go in & out of focus.

So My question is,

Is this ok or a nightmare? I never pulled a key with a rack

maya fluids render too soft vs preview

In the view port, my fluid looks pretty detailed, however, once I render, the detail is gone and the fluid looks like it has a 10 pixel blur on it. At 2k, it is more apparent, but still visible in the following image. Here is the image that describes my issue. Any suggestions or comments welcome. Thank you!

fluids render soft

Can anyone help me with this. I like the way my fluids look in the viewport, however, when they render, they look soft/blurry. The attached image does a decent job of illustrating my issue, and it is really obvious at film resolution.

Any thoughts or comments are much appreciated.

“Camera Tracker” Node’s “Track Quality” Option

I’m using NukeX 6.2v1

I was watching a tutorial on "Camera Tracker" and how to do basic 3D track inside Nuke. They were using Nuke 6.0.

They showed at one point that, after tracking the features of a footage we can see the "Track Quality" by using the "Display Options", and then Nuke shows our Track Points in Green/Yellow Color. But in my version of NukeX, I thing the "camera tracker’ node is modified. I can see the Display Options but I can can’t choose to see "Track Quality". I really stuck on this. Hope some you can solve this problem soon.

Syntheyes to maya batch render HELP

hi, i have been working on a few shots doing a simple head replacement. i have tracked the object in syntheyes and then imported the track to maya. there was a pop in the track so i fixed it using a few manual keyframes in maya on the object i am tracking.

in viewport the track is solid. no problems. if i render a single frame in ipr it still lines up. when i render maya batch it pops.

here is a playblast and a render so you can see the difference in the track….why is it doing this???
