the manuals tells you to connect your source image to both src and dst input. Why are there two inputs if they take the same image? What can be achieved by connecting a different image to the dst input?
my name is Alexandre Lerouge, I’m from France and I’ve just finished my studies at ArtFx Montpellier. I mainly focus my work into compositing.
I’m here to show you my demoreel, its contains some shots from Huracan, my last year project I’ve done with 2 of my friends.
All the shots are Red One footages with a dancer on a green screen and then composited in Fusion 6.
Hope you enjoy it !
The idea behind this was to create a render that looked like a still image from a film noir movie. Everything was done in 3dsmax a…div class=”feedflare”

The visual effects of Marmaduke
Director Tom Dey called on several FX shops for Marmaduke,
the story of a loveable Great Dane who moves to Orange County with his
unsuspecting family. Under overall VFX supe Craig Lyn, artists brought
to life several talking animals mostly via CG face replacements,
although some key scenes featured an all-digital title character. Here’s my article at fxguide which takes a look at the work by Cinesite, CIS Vancouver and Rhythm
Hues.
Looks like i got a problem with my compositing in Nuke,
i got a dark edge when i add a Fog node to the scene, and i can’t change the fog color to other color.
so~ has anybody got an idea on this problem? i’m very new to the nuke~
Thanks
One of the biggest problems is that the camera used was a Sony EX1 with the rolling shutter issue, the other issue is that the shot is pretty long. I do have access to the rolling shutter plugin but im not sure how to use it. I have applied it to the best of my knowledge but I still cant seem to get a solution. Ive also tried both pftrack ands syntheyes, Syntheyes is actually more enjoyable to work with, being way faster and it almost gets a usable solution. So far I have only been able to solve the first few seconds and not sure how to extend the solution using syntheyes.
I guess what Im after is a proper workflow, like how to prep the footage for tracking and then how to deal with such a long camera move.
here is the clip any suggestions would be great, Ive been having a hell of a time trying to solve this thing.
Thanks!!!
