Is the Adobe Production Premium suite a bad investment for beginning VFX peeps?

I plan to buy Photoshop and Flash… but I’m wondering if I might as well throw in a few extra in order to get After Effects and few others in this suite:

My questions are:
1. Is this a waste of money for a starting VFX peep like me?
2. Anyone know what would be a better a deal and where i can get it?

Shake/Nuke Compositor new to LA

I am a Shake compositor with about 5 years experience with independent features, TV, commercials, and corporate videos. I have some on-set supervision experience as well.
I recently learned Nuke and would be able to do most work in there as well.

motion blur on beziers? am I missing something here?

Hi Guys,

I feel like this should be a silly question but I can’t for the life of me figure out where to add motion blur for bezier shapes in Nuke. In Shake it was in the parameters tab, but in Nuke there is no motion blur quality slider or checkbox, there is no mention of motion blur at all! I looked at the poroject settings and once again no motion blur settings! Am I missing something here?
