Hi,
I wish, once and for all, to straighten out how to maintain the quality of a DVPAL clip when rendered from AE into FCP.
I’ve noticed, in AE before rendering to FCP, I need to change the default position 288 up to 286 to maintain the original position in FCP. I choose compression DV – PAL and interlaced (if the clip was shot so). As interlaced, I choose Lower field order first (I’ve heard FCP likes that while PAL). Still I find there’s a slight difference from the original clip in the FCP timeline.
I’m aware of that adding a lot of effects and color adjustments might affect quality but besides from that.
Greatful for advise! //Erik

Background / Education must include some interest/experience /education in art whether it’s photography, fine art, film. Primarily need someone young and willing to work who is interested in visual effects and thinks they would like to work in the commercial post world (i.e. advertising).
Hours would be long, mostly days but possible nights & weekends, pay commensurate to experience (you could be just above entry-level with some knowledge of VFX/ Flame or you could have a year of assisting already under your belt), working environment is great & very supportive.
