Role: Snr Infrastructure / Virtualisation Engineer
StudioEngine AUSTRALIA is seeking a Snr Infrastructure / Virtualisation Engineer to join our expanding team.We have an immediate opening for a Senior level Enterprise Systems integration specialist. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in the deployment and integration of server and storage infrastructure, VMware virtualization server & desktop, Citrix Xen app & desktop, Hyper-V and Windows and/or Linux experience. Direct hands-on experience implementing HP, EMC, NetApp, HDS, BlueArc and/or Compellent infrastructure along with Brocade, HP and/or Cisco SAN Fabrics desired.

Qualifications:
– 5 minimum yrs of sys-admin experience
– 3-5 yrs of hands on project experience implementing windows infrastructure
– 3-5 years of hands on project experience implementing storage solutions
– 3-5 years of hands on project experience implementing server and desktop virtualization solutions
– 3-5 years of hands on project experience implementing HP System Insight Manager
– Possess knowledge of HP Proliant server and Blade Matrix infrastructure
– Technical experience designing solutions to solve complex business problems.
– Ability to work with multiple operating system environments
– Able to articulate both verbally and in writing proposed solutions to internal customers
– Possess excellent written and verbal skills
– Positive Attitude, self-motivated, and confident
Responsibilities:
– Provide (service delivery) into our facility customer base.
– Prepare Complex technical solutions utilizing the latest in server & virtualization technology
– Identify and Scope the services necessary to implement solutions
– Install, configure, & Integrate HP, Dell and VMWare solutions into our own internal and customer environments
– Develop and present detailed technical documentation
– Perform Knowledge transfer of solutions as designed
– Some limited travel may be required
Desired Skills and Certifications:
– VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
– Hewlett Packard Accredited Systems Engineer ProLiant Blades (ASE)
– Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCTS, or MCITP)
– Citrix Certifications
– Brocade, HP / Cisco SAN Certification
– BlueArc / Isilon / NetApp Storage Experience
– Cisco , Brocade, and/or ProCurve Networking Experience a plus
– HP System Insight Manager Experience (SIM)
