Stereoscopic camerasolve to Maya

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if I could tell Maya to handle a stereoscopic camerasolve from Pftrack- which basically are two independent cameras- like the internal Maya stereorig.
So that I would be able to use the stereoscopic viewport to check my 3D Scene.
Has anyone faced that problem yet ?
Thanks in advance !

Stefan

What programs do you need for Matchmoving?

Also, how do you use after effects for:confused: matchmoving? That is the only program I am familiar with at the present moment. In addition, what are the steps to matchmove?

What are some books on color correcting in after effects?

Specifically, I am looking for a book that teaches a person to color correction easily without someone being completely baffled. In addition, this book must teach the topic step by step. I am currently reading the“Adobe After Effects CS4 Visual Effects and Compositing Studio Techniques” . There are some instructions on how to match colors, however I feel that the book is vague and I at times do not know what I am doing.

PFtrack is killing me… HELP!

Hi all,

I’m tracking some shots for a project and i’ve encountered the following problem…
I have some track markers on the wall and all the solved tracking points are not at the same Z level. When i look at the point cloud i can see that the points are not aligned in z space. They need to be, because the track markers are on the wall.

Does anyone have a clue? I can’t seem to find a solution for this issue…

Thnx in advance
