They are looking for a multitalented 3D artist with high technical and artistic knowledge used to solve problems and coming up with solutions. You will have different generalist roles also working with particle simulation. Company offers great work with international clients, you work with Maya preferably (Max could be ok). You have a kickass showreel and are available 28/5-29/6. Dailyfee around 300Eur. The Job

We’re looking for a talented Maya rigger who can:

·Set-up and rigging of character models
·Work with animators to design, create, and maintain animation rigs for characters that are clean, efficient, and animation friendly
·Design user interfaces and controls for characters and facial animation systems (Bone and blend shape driven)
·Maintain and improve current animation pipeline
·Knowledge of animation sharing, and motion capture transfer between character rigs

Contract terms to be agreed according to experience.

Your Experience


·Minimum 2 years industry experience in TV or Film preferred setting up rigs for low & high-res characters. Graduates with strong reels will be considered for junior roles
·Excellent of knowledge of skeletal and deformation systems, and the principles of character motion required to build high quality characters of all types (bipeds, quadrupeds, snakes, etc)
·Excellent experience and knowledge of Maya (Knowledge of MEL scripting experience a plus)
·Excellent knowledge of character animation tools and setup environment in Maya
·Animation and/or modeling experience a plus
·MotionBuilder experience a plus

Character TD/Rigger needed in Glasgow

Axis Animation is looking for an experienced rigger for a next generation game cinematics project.

Tasks will include rigging realistic human characters, vehicles and possibly environment FX rigging as well. The rigger would be responsible for the project’s vehicles and characters as a whole, from initial design through implementation to animation support.

Responsibilities may include:

·Design, create, test and maintain character and vehicle set ups
·Work with the modellers to create a model that meets technical needs
·Collaborate with animators to design motion controls
·Develop and maintain character motion and deformation systems
·Develop secondary dynamics systems
·Develop new techniques and processes to solve character production challenges
·Build on and support the rigging pipeline for any jobs going through the studio
·Be involved in R&D and tool building to improve and add to character rigging pipeline
·Possibly write utility scripts and programs to streamline the rigging set-up process
·Work with production management to prioritize tasks
·Keep CG Supervisor and/or leads and management informed of progress, changes and other critical issues

Requirements :

·In depth knowledge of Maya
·a Degree level qualification in a related subject (eg arts, design, computer sciences)
·The above requirement may be waived for Candidates with suitable work experience (generally at least 3 years working in games, TV or film)
·Preferably 3+ years Experience using Maya in a professional production environment
·Experience rigging Complex character/vehicle set-ups
·Experience writing MEL scripts and automating rigging processes
·A good understanding of 3D FK/IK skeletal animation systems for both control and deformation of 3D characters (stylised and realistic)
·Experience with secondary animation systems (including cloth /hair simulation) is preferred
·A Good eye for anatomical detail and a firm understanding of the processes and requirements of both modelling and animation
·Strong technical understanding of 3D computer graphics in general and good problem solving skills
·Ability to document and clearly explain rigging systems and processes to other team members
·The ability to support themselves and to work under their own initiative
good communication skills, along with a strong team orientation.

Digital Production Accountant- Sony Pictures Imageworks 203830-033 (show hire)

The Digital Production Accountant provides financial support and analysis for Visual Effects productions. This position is responsible for all financial and accounting functionalities on VFX films including production budgeting, forecasting/cash flows, profit analysis, headcount analysis, general accounting and ad-hoc analysis. The Digital Production Accountant will work directly with the Producers, Production Managers, Coordinators, as well as with clients, Director of IT Systems, and Finance Management.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all financial aspects of production accounting: including budgeting, cashflow, cost tracking, headcount tracking, variance analysis, forecasting estimated final cost (EFC), profit analysis, wrap sheets, and ad hoc analysis.

– Budgeting and cost tracking VFX films (Development/Asset Phase, Digital shots and Fixed costs)
– Prepare weekly Estimated Final Cost (EFC) forecasting, cash flow forecasting, headcount
summary, variance analysis, reporting and miscellaneous journals and account re-class
– Review weekly reports for accuracy and making reclassifications as required
– Analyze cause of variance tracking reporting
– Extract budgets into EFC reporting
– Database maintenance including rate updates, crewing changes, etc.
– Review and code purchase orders, invoices, petty cash, procurement card expenses, etc.
– Prepare audit backup to support all show expenditures as needed
– Audit production time cards
– Labor tracking by employee and task
– Perform complex financial analysis on an as needed basis
– Additional production related accounting functions as requested by Finance Management

Required Experience:
– B.A./B.S. Finance/Accounting degree
– CPA or MBA preferred
– 4+ years – production accounting experience (CG/VFX preferred)
– Advanced Excel Skills required, SAP and Access knowledge a plus
– Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
– Excellent analytical, organizational and forecasting skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work and remain detail oriented
