Hasta La Motion!

Hey, everyone. I’m a high school senior with a few days left to decide where I’m going to college. I got into Columbia College Chicago where I’d like to learn visual effects and graphic design. However, it’s pretty wildly expensive. I was wondering just how likely it is to get a job in the field by learning on your own/how valuable the college education in it would be. If I don’t go there, it’s basically a full ride at a research university where I’d study linguistics and stuff. I’m very lost and don’t know which direction is more worthwhile.
