Join me as I scout out some abandoned places in Kentucky, all of which have something to do with Whiskey. This stop was at the Old Crow Distillery in Frankfort Kentucky.
From what little I could see from the road I knew this place was sure to be amazing. After hopping a fence and making my way through some thick brush I discovered my intuition was correct. This place was amazing! So much machinery and industrial decay it was almost overwhelming. I noticed some strange activity going on which made for a tense explore but the risk was well worth the reward as this was hands down one of the coolest abandoned places in Kentucky, maybe even the country!
My project BARE USA is a nation wide photography project that contrast natural beauty with man-made decay. This contrast is achieved by photographing nude models in abandoned locations.
