My name is Brian Cattelle has been traveling the United States photographing creepy and abandoned places in search of amazing locations for my photography project BARE USA. I’ve seen some wild things and been to some of the most insane places. BARE USA isn’t just about capturing these images of solitude and decay. It’s about rejuvenating some of their past glory by injecting natural beauty. To do this I find adventurous models crazy enough to follow me into these dark and forgotten structures, letting me take nude photos of them in the chaos and destruction. This creates compositions of natural beauty in contrast with man-made decay. These are the stories of the places we braved and the resulting images from my project.

Fisher Body Plant #21 in Detroit, Michigan

ACME Coke Plant in Chicago, Illinois

City Methodist Church in Gary, Indiana
