Lubricating for maximum glide │ Stanton SA-5 mixer – haQ attaQ

The faders on my old Stanton SA-5 Allies signature mixer needed cleaning and some lube love in order for them to glide smoothly again. I recently started using this mixer after being hooked up with a new wall-power adapter for it (Thank you Ribbon). The fun lasted for a day before my faders started getting dodgy so it was time for an overhaul.

The Hidden Cuts of: The Revenant

The Hidden Cuts of: The Revenant This video contains what I believe are to be the hidden cuts (or Transitions) used in The Revenant. As anyone whose seen it, they can agree with me that The Revenant is a technical masterpiece and one of the great tricks they used were splicing pieces of footage together into one seamless take through various techniques. This technique has been seen most prevelent in films like Birdman (Also done by Alejandro G. Inarritu and Lubezki) and this video in no way is meant to debunk or disgrace the hard work and talent that was put into making this film into the masterpiece it is respected as today, but to respect the art of cinema and the technical and creative achievement’s this film has accomplished. Very well I may be wrong, and there may be many more cuts, however I do believe these to be hidden cuts for various reasons including wardobe change (prop knife to stunt) and camera technical changes. A frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. Directed by: Alejandro G. Inarritu DP: Emmanuel ‘Chivo’ Lubezki Edited by: Stephen Mirrione Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Domnhall Gleeson, Paul Anderson This video was edited entirely in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, as well as all titles, thumbnails were created in Adobe Illustrator.

''Time Will Always Bring Forgiveness'' – Charles Compton

Released 1914 on the Edison label. Video features vintage circa 1914 photos from the magazine “Kodakery”. Yes, I realise the pictures have no connection to the music….yes, I realise I’ve used these pictures in a previous video. But aren’t they nice pictures?
