The Unsung Heroes of Cinema

You’ve probably heard the statistic that nearly half of all films produced before 1950 are entirely lost, and that’s only one of the many reasons that proper restoration and preservation is so important. Let’s dive in and take a look at three different films all in different stages of the restoration process, plus take a look at how film restoration as a whole has evolved and continues to evolve in an increasingly digital world. Korea's Ultimate Hangover Cure

Hangovers: the older we get, the more unbearable they become. But how to beat them? Well if you find yourself in Korea with a splitting headache after too many rounds of soju, we recommend haejangguk (aka hangover soup). At Seoul’s Cheong Jin Ok restaurant, home of the original haejangguk, third-generation owner Joon-Yong Choi makes the stew the same way his family has since 1937. Congealed cow’s blood, beef intestines, rice and cabbage: this soup does a body good.

What if 'The Matrix' Starred Will Smith?

In one of the most famous cases of actors turning down roles, Will Smith did just that for the role of Neo in The Matrix. The role instead went to Keanu Reeves and Will Smith went onto do Wild Wild West.

But let’s put on our alternate reality googles and see what The Matrix would’ve looked like had Will Smith accepted the role of Neo 🙂

Like this? Then a share would be massively appreciated! Here’s some ways you could do that:

Extreme Ski Racing Behind Motorcycles | Insiders: Twitch 'n Ride

►Get inside more Red Bull events here: http://win.gs/RBInsiders
Red Bull Twitch ‘n’ Ride is the Latvians’ idea of a good time: step into some (preferably old and someone else’s) skis and get dragged around a motorcross track with 40 or so other rides at crazy speeds, taking on snow, ice and dirt, and some pretty evil kickers. It’s skijoring, and it’s F’in awesome.

Around 150 teams had gathered for the day to race in various classes according to bike engine size. Teams would compete in two races, each one consisting of 10 minutes, plus two laps. (So that’s about 17 minutes of non-stop squats and arm pulls.)

Follow along with Tarquin Cooper as he sets out to conquer the chaos of Red Bull Twitch ‘n’ Ride!
