FREITAG – F251 KOWALSKI

It doesn’t get any more minimalistic than this: Two simple tarp
pieces without an inner lining form the main bag, and
the two tarp straps that are attached act as both
shoulder carriers and an automatic fastening system.

Wearable, weatherproof and ready for whatever the day
may bring.

Wiwek + Skrillex | "Still in the Cage" | Director’s cut

A frivolous move to shake the spirit up. Short film featuring music by Wiwek and Skrillex, and vocal performances by Elliphant, Big Freedia and Sirah. The director’s cut spends more time on the characters presentation than the official version. The Night Of – Framing a Crime Drama

HBO’s The Night Of provides viewers with a more visual approach to the crime drama by relying on the use of framing throughout. Framing is the presentation of visual elements in an image and serves as a good indicator of where the subject is in relation to the space and other objects. For this video I believed having a rule of thirds grid would make the framing of each image clearer in an attempt to visually understand the different ways an actor is placed before the camera, how it affects their character as well as the overall scene. Classic commercials for Securities Industry Association

Not really HD at all. A collection of old ads for “Securities Industry Association”, promoting “The Market” (stocks, bonds, etc). These ads come from the adviews section of the internet archive.

Photographs I took using the Kodak Stylelite

Photos I recently took using the Kodak Stylelite, a 110 film camera introduced in 1979. This camera was often given away as a promotional gift, and has a cheap lens. However, I later took an additional set of photos with it, with somewhat better results than this. I think the lens may have had some moisture on it. Lomography’s regular 110 film was used for these photos. The photos were taken in Olinda, Victoria, Australia. The music is “Miss Trombone” by Indestructible Military Band, issued 1911. Despite being over 100 years old, someone claimed copyright on the audio. Ugh.

''If You Could Care'' – Henri's Orchestra (1920)

Canadian band. Combined with photographs from the June 1923 edition of “Kodakery”. For some reason the magazine includes a lot of pictures of children. Audio from the Virtual Gramophone website. I’m surprised that all the extremely old Canadian recordings I’ve uploaded have resulted in copyright claims. They must have really long copyright terms there.
