i recently made this video as a promo / teaser for a hiphop-festival.
But actually i am used to work as a matchmover/roto-/prepartist and altough i know some compositing basics i still have the feeling my composits are missing something.
Probably you see what is. I would really appreciate if somebody could give me some constructive feedback!
Thanks and all the best from Giso (holland)

I hope that you are all looking forward to the weekend!!!
Back in April, my good friend Louis Marcoux did a fabulous presentation at NAB 2011 showcasing a full workflow with Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Smoke. This is an amazing in-depth look into the workflow… Great for beginners and advanced users!!!
Recently Louis made these in-depth videos which are a complete break down of his presentation. *So there are plenty of videos in this blog post for all skill levels. *In fact there are 22 parts!
This included working with render passes, 3D models and retexturing in Autodesk Smoke.
Now for all of you using other 3D applications including Autodesk Maya, don’t look away just yet because the workflow he shows can be easily used with your 3D application as well. *It is more about the interchange formats and render passes and how it all comes together in Autodesk Smoke.
