Mocha Pro, exporting inserted images.

Hi I had insert some pics with the insert option of Moca Pro, so they stay attached to de tracked surface, and it works really nice. Now the problem is I want to export them, just the images without the background, so I can color correct them. There’s ay way to do that?
The best idea I have had is to change the backround input to a black image, so I can aply a luma key to it in the composer. But I think there must be a better way to do it, if someone knows, please tell me. Thank you.

Tron: The Final Word from David Lewandowski

Over the last couple months, we’ve posted some nice nuggets about the making-of Tron: Legacy — but we couldn’t resist just one more story.

Some of you might have noticed our recent Quickie announcing the relaunch of David Lewandowski’s site. He, along with Bradley “Gmunk” Munkowitz, Jake Sargeant and a host of others at Digital Domain were responsible for much of the stunning motion design work in Tron: Legacy.

David took quite a bit of time to be interviewed by Meleah Maynard, and in the process gave us a more technical look at some of the visuals he helped fashion.

Disclaimer: There’s some obvious pro-Cinema 4D spin in this article. And I’m glad to see it. I’ve been a fan of Cinema for a long time, and I’m pleased to see it getting some traction. Deal with it.

Now, read on!

Animation but no keyframes

Hello all,

I am still new to 3ds Max, and I am wondering if anyone would be able to help with this (probably) really easy question. I downloaded a model from turbosquid to mess around with and I noticed that there are some aspects of the model that are animated, but I can’t find any keyframes anywhere. For example, the eyeballs of the character move from left to right a few times, but the eyeballs themselves have no keyframes for rotation or anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Which HD Camera could I get…

with a budget of bewtween 2.500 – 3000 euros with the following spec

HD (full)
4:2;2 ( even if only with just straight to disk )
24p and 60p

the above are essential anything else would be of secondary importance although ability to change lenses would be an excellent plus as would great low light capabilities and with lowest compression possible.

My ideal camera would have been the Sony F3 35mm camcorder but my budget goes nowhere near it. I need to be able to pull good chroma shots with it.
any suggestions, advice, anecdotes or links to start me off in my search?

Thanks in advance
