Shader / Texture / Material Artist

A UK based studio is looking for an experienced Shader/Texture Artist with a deep knowledge of materials and rendering techniques in real-time and pre-rendered. They create high quality material setups for realistic environments and maintain consistency and quality for texture maps (including Bump, Specular Maps, diffuse, normal, ambient occlusion, reflection and environmental maps).
Work closely with the lighting artist and world/environment modeller to create a realistic looking environment.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must have knowledge of realistic material/shader creation, as well as in-depth experience with Photoshop.
Knowledge of other digital paint programs, excellent artistic skills and solid understanding of colour theory. Knowledge of physically based shading models is a big plus

Portfolio should demonstrate the following:

Strong knowledge of shader and material
Ability to work in realistic styles
Multi-layer and multi-pass texturing systems
Good knowledge of creating detailed normal maps with z-brush or crazy bump
Ability to create textures based on photo references
Good understanding of lighting

Animate Projection Geometrie

hi i need help with something.
i projected a plane(aircraft) on a card and deformed it.
now i want that the plane is moving on my groundplane….etc.
how can i animate the card or move it.because if i move it,
the card is moving but not my projection.I could do it in 2d before but is there a way to move it as 3d layer in my setup ? and how ? :confused:

Mocha: Very dark shot, blurred.

Hello guys, I haven’t work in Mocha for long time, I did only few basic projects, but now I have to do this one:

So, I need to track just a 3 second and add a numberplate to the back of the car. I did one track and it wasn’t good, I added few masks at the same layer and tried again and it was failed at the end. So I decided to adjust Planar Surface (blue rectangle) but I don’t know how to adjust this in Mocha.

I know I have to export it to AE as a CornerPin, but I dunno Am I on a right way or no.
Please fellows trackers, give me some advice :thumbsup:

Looking for high-poly creature/monster/zombie models…

Can anyone recommend an online resource for high-poly, jointed/rigged characters? A quick google search turns up about half a dozen sites but the models are low-poly and somewhat amateur. If you’re a pro modeler maybe you have some characters for sale? Thanks!

Free 3d compositing programs?

I have a very low budget and was wondering if there is any free 3d compositing programs like nuke. Programs where you can import and mix 3d models/animations into live action footage?

Clean Plates in Boujou

hey guys….

i was wondering if it was possible to generate clean plates in boujou ?
i tried to find it online but couldnt find it for boujou….but it looks pretty simple in syntheyes…
i would also know if creating clean plates is not possible in boujou and i dont have syntheyes, which is the easier way to so…
