problem with addOnScriptSave

hey guys,
i have this few lines of code to copy a script to another location after it’s saved.

Code:

import nuke
import shutil

def myfunction():

      currScript = nuke.Root()['name'].value()
       
      backupPath = 'path/to/backup/folder/'

      shutil.copy(currScript, backupPath)


this is the entry in my menu.py

Code:

import myfunction
nuke.addOnScriptSave(myscript.myfunction)


when i overwrite a script that already exists, this works like expected.
but when i try to save the script as a new script, i get an error message. this file doesn’t exist. so nothing is saved and nothing is copied.
i understand that ‘addOnScriptSave’ is executed before the script is saved. so this is an expected error.
i tried ‘nuke.scriptSave()’ before ‘shutil.copy(currScript, backupPath)’, but this gives me another error message: ‘maximum recursion depth exeeded‘.
would be great, if someone can point me to how i get the script saved before the copy command is executed!

Low Res files in Camera Tracking Software

Hello
i have a simple question about the interpretation of the camera data.
For a job shot with RedCamera at 4k 16/9 (4096*2304) with a lense of 20mm, i need to recreate the camera with PfTrack.
So filmback is 22.12 * 12.44 mm

The question is if a made a low res file of for example 2048*1152 or Hd 1920*1080 can keep the same film back size or need i use the 2k film back or set an unknown camera in pfTrack. And for the lense, what i’m suppose to do? 😎
So need i keep all the info like i am working in the 4k Resolution shot ? or not? 😀 Or maybe work with the 4k rushes

And maybe for people who are familiar with Maya.
When i export my cam (maya ascii default setting) with a correct size (i use two point measured on set) the two point who are distant for 1 meter in real life, are distant for 1 cm in Maya.
Is it normal? Need i change the scale export ?

Kromath is a real time 3D keyer based in the same foundation of 3D Color space as primatte and some other high-end keyers do.

Also is programed over OpenGL and GLSL shaders, to allow a maximum performance on "low profile " devices like iPhone or iPods.

Kromath is capable to process chroma keys and make pre compositions over custom images, offering a frame rate over 20fps, for the real time processing.

So when you are using Kromath you can directly touch over color areas (on live video) to sample and pic the key colors and instantly see the key results, no render, no further process, everything on real time.

Also features a quick shape tool to create basic garbage masking, and add it to render tree of the keyer pipeline.

I`ve made some video captures but framerate is slowing down due to video being captured and compressed at the same time on my iPhone, but it could help you wonder the way Kromath will work.

Roto/paint team leader will be essential to Beijing based VFX subcontracting company looking to create a super efficient roto team. Individual must be skilled in honing the skills of junior artists and improving the workflow of the whole team.

– Develop training program for junior artists (teaching roto/paint and basic compositing in Silhouette and Nuke)

– 3-4+ years industry level roto and paint experience
– Experience as department head a big plus
