Transferring showreel to Pal DVD

Hi,
I’ve been trying to transfer my CGI showreel, which I originally created in RGB colourspace, to pal DVD and it looks horrendous .. The colours are totally washed out, and its completely blown out.

I understand that this is caused by changing from an RGB colourspace to YUV?

I’d appreciate any tips on how I can go about making this transfer, and tips on workflow and what pacjages are best for doing this.

I’m trying things out with Nuke, setting my LUT settings to linear as described in the manual.

Thanks in advance.
