DANIELS Create An Explosive Drunken Video for The Hundred in the Hands

Directing Duo : Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan aka DANIELS Create An Explosive Drunken Video for The Hundred in the Hands

I posted a video that the two Daniels directed a while back. They just completed this new video, the simple story of a girl who vomits fireworks after a party bender. I really enjoy the match cuts and in-camera work that actually makes you feel as if you are just as wasted as she is.

We are really excited to see where Daniels goes from here!

My school film

Hello,

my school film I’ve made a year ago. Very little VFX. But I think the idea is understandable even if it’s in czech language. Rest of the videos are not by me. It’s profile of my cameraman.

I directed it, wrote it and edited it.

Apple iMac 27”and FCS3 and After Effects

Hello!

At first I’m sorry for my english guys…

I’m interested in buying 27” imac (new gen) and I would like to know how is this hardware usable for practical work. I work as professional editor and director – usually on documentary and promotional videos. I’m able to use after effects.

For my work I need just classical editing tools like Final Cut, but I’m also doing "my stuff" – movies. I need it basically for compositing, some 3D stuff is done by external co-worker. I’m just "putting layers together".

I’m not planning to use Smoke or Nuke, because it’s out of my financial capacity, but maybe one day.
Lot of people said to me, that I should buy Mac Pro, which is quite expensive here in Czech Republic, I want to know if 27 inch iMac is realistically usable machine for serious work with FCS and if its powerful enough for coloring, motion or AE.

THanks for answer

Nuke FBX to 3dsMax

Hi.

Has anyone has any success exporting a tracked camera / obj from Nuke6.1 into 3dsmax ?

I’ve done my track in nuke and setup proxy geometry but when I export fbx and import into 3dsmax, my camera and geom aren’t at the right axis. ]

Also, the lens in Nuke is 12mm but when it comes into 3dsmax, it says it’s 51 !

Anyone got any tips ?

Thanks

transform node – how to operate with bounding box

i need to transform background and i use transform node but it is not very handy for me because of its strange gizmo in the center – is it possibe to use standard transform bounding box so i may operate with corners and edges of image

i also interesting is it possible to fit size of background to image size (in merge node) automatically – now i have to do manually with help of reformat node

thanks in advance
