Key Purpose of the Job:

Double Negative is looking for a Shotgun developer.

You will

• Develop production management systems including shotgun.
• Work alongside Senior Programmers.
• Interface with teams of designers.
• Communicate and work well in a close-knit team environment to create exceptional work.

You will need to have

• Direct experience using shotgun.
• Previous experience with large-scale post-production pipelines.
• An excellent understanding of programming languages/techniques.
• A pragmatic approach to solving programming/production issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You will need to be

• Smart, driven and adaptable.
• Team oriented.

• Confident in approach to getting things done.
• Passionate about film.
• Excited to tackle new and varied challenges.

How is it possible to set the nuke,

1) memory usage to 50 %

2) force autosave 120 secs

3) idle for 30 seconds

disk cache size can be set to 20G using the command below.
os.environ[‘NUKE_DISK_CACHE_GB’] = "20"

Althoughthe change does not appear in the preferences window, i presume it has taken place coz

y = os.environ.get(‘NUKE_DISK_CACHE_GB’)

gives a 20.

Is it true.
