A book problem !
Posted in: NUKE from The Foundryas Ron said " Assume we are working with an image shot on a blue background. The first step the color difference method involves the creation of a new image in which this blue backing is suppressed to black. This is done by selectively substituting the green channel for the blue channel in every pixel in which the existing blue component has a greater intensity than the green component. In other words, for each pixel,
If Blue > Green
then New blue = Green
else New blue = Blue "
so Ron is telling to substitute the green channel for the blue channel and then put a condition. I tried a lot to do this in nuke. But ended scratching my head.So please all Vfx artists give it a try it will be great help. Thanks:)
I am currently working on a shot with a fridge in it. The fridge opens up and there has to come some smoke out of it to simulate the cold.
I am close to the deadline and have not realy an idea how to do this a quick and an easy way.
Are there some tutorials for this? Or can you guys maybe help me out with this?
Thanks a lot already!

I wanna roto out my character from live action footage and I thought I will as few tips here.. Since there is a lot of shaky camera movement involved I was thinking about stabilizing the plate do the roto on the character and then destabilize the plate again so it has original movement.. technically the roto should follow the character then, right?
So I used Tracker to track my footage then in transform settings I set it to be "Stabilize".
The problems that I’m having is when it comes to reintroducing the old camera movement.. I applied transform node (after the roto nodes) copied animation values from the Tracker and added *-1 in the expression tab… Now all the cam movement is back in place, however the footage that went outside the borders during the stabilization is black now… is there any way to tell NUKE to keep that footage data when it goes out of the border during the stabilization?
Or is there any better ways to do this kind of task?
All your suggestion helps me to take decision !!
