This was the first concept- There is a small town to the left of the image. This will be an establishing show. I also have some paintings that are closer to the town but I’m still working on them but will post as soon as they’ve been finished. www.westernxtheshow.com
I’m leaning towards this one. It needs some more work but it’s getting there.
This is a small video of where I utilized a couple other matte paintings within the series. In this video I actually built a model for the mountain scene.
This is actually a promo vid for the premiere. The reason I post this is because of the opening shot, at the very beginning the main character is walking over the dunes everything else around him was the model.
