Small But Cool Compositing Gig

Hi,

I have a shot that my own skills are coming up a bit short with, and I’d like to hire a VFX artist to composite the shot.

This is for a spec tv commercial. So quality is vital, but price IS an issue.

The footage is R3D, no appreciable camera movement on either piece (I used warp stabilizer in AE CS5.5 to make things even more locked down, so you may want to do something similar in Nuke or whatever you use).

The plates are:

A small chrome ball being licked in ECU

A man’s eyeball in ECU, reacting to the lick

I need to remove the chrome ball, but save the reflections. Put the reflections (some of them at least) onto the man’s eyeball. And marry the two shots (yes, sizewise one’s tongue is bigger than the eye, but we can cheat that) so that it looks like the model is licking the eyeball.

The final layers, as I see it, will be:

– model coming into shot as bk (it’s a lingerie spec commercial)
– man eyeball
– tongue and face of model as she licks
– reflections to put on eyeball

I could be wrong. But this is a good starting point.

The eyeball plate was shot on black, but I can’t seem to key it at all. Also, the man has thick eyelashes, which I’d like to make look like they’re pushed away as the tongue slides over his eye.

Total screentime- less than 4 seconds.

Deliverable- the composite, in 1920×1080 and also the layers used (rendered out as separate QTs).

Timeframe- as soon as possible.

(ps: I am removing my other post from the jobs forum, clearly this is the place to post this sort of thing)
