Seeking an advice….To become a FX Artist.

Warm greetings to everyone,

I am so passionate to become a FX Artist.I’ve been using MAYA for one+ years and fell in Love with it. But quite a long time ago i came across that HOUDINI is being adopted by most of the Effects Houses around the world as their in House Effects Tool in their production pipeline.Since then a question of myself bothering me a lot that should i switch into HOUDINI or stick with MAYA.I hope you guys can give an appropriate solution.
