Double Negative is a full-service VFX facility capable of handling projects from initial design through on-set supervision and production to post-production. All key post-production technologies are available in-house to allow for maximum flexibility. Our R&D Department is constantly developing groundbreaking software to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of global VFX.

We are currently in production on John Carter Of Mars, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Captain America: The First Avenger.

Key Purpose of the Job

Double Negative is looking for a Shotgun developer.

Needs To Do

* Develop production management systems including shotgun
* Work alongside Senior Programmers
* Interface with teams of designers
* Communicate and work well in a close-knit team environment to create exceptional work

Needs To Know

* Direct experience using shotgun
* Previous experience with large-scale post-production pipelines
* An excellent understanding of programming languages/techniques
* A pragmatic approach to solving programming/production issues
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Needs To Be

* Smart, driven and adaptable
* Team oriented
* Confident in approach to getting things done
* Passionate about film
* Excited to tackle new and varied challenges
