New London Studio, Animagine, requires a senior 3D character animator for long term contract beginning July 1st 2010.

You must be at the top of your field, ideally you will have experience working on big budget features as a character animator, even better if you have been the lead artisit.

Typically, you will have had experience at a large house such as The Mill, MPC, Framestore, ILM, Weta, Pixar etc. You will also have experience working in high end commercials. Experience of animating photorealistic characters would be a definite advantage.

As well as being a dedicated 3D character animator you will also have a comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines such as modelling, rigging and to a lesser extent texturing, lighting and rendering.

This job would suit someone looking to work in a more creative role within a small team of very talented 3D artists since we actively encourage a collaborative spirit within the team.

Animators with directoral experience would be an added bonus.
