Summary:
Support the studio rendering requirements during off hours by prioritizing element passes, monitoring the render farm and responding to issues related to rendering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Review daily render requirements with lighting department
– Render queue management
– Troubleshoot any technical problems with render
– Work with systems department to ensure render farm is operating at expected efficiency
– Disk space management
Requirements:
– Working knowledge of Maya essential
– Working knowledge and/or experience with Qube render management software
– Must be proactive and able to learn quickly
– Attention to detail is crucial
– Knowledge of the various 3D lighting passes is an asset
Start Date: Monday August 22
Duration: 3 to 6 month contract
Salary: discussed during interview process
