Post production –technical systems support
London based VFX company are currently looking for a bright, motivated all-rounder with a good understanding of computer systems, to join our Technology department, to help maintain and advance our digital infrastructure.
We want fast learners who can advance our technical Infrastructure, individuals who are comfortable supporting a busy post production boutique
Another prerequisite is an excellent knowledge of operating systems, networking, high performance file servers and rendering systems, as well as a knowledge of film and video systems.
Duties include:
· Workstation Support: directly supporting the artists in the facility, Setting up and moving artist workstations.
· Image Quality Control: monitor calibrations, projector calibrations, maintaining viewing environments etc.
· repairing faulty workstations and servers.
· workstation builds and software installation.
· Keeping accurate documentation.
· managing the machine room and other technical areas
· generally helping the Technology Department with their day to day tasks
