MPC is one of the world’s leading post production facilities creating high-end digital visual effects for the television and feature film industries. We seek to appoint an IT Systems Administrator in our Vancouver facility to ensure the ongoing operation of our IT systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• OS and Workstation deployment – Mac/Windows/VM
• Coordinate with remote teams for network and security changes
• Data Backups – Configuration, maintenance, monitoring and reporting
• Core servers – maintain, monitor, upgrade and ensure uptime
• Desktop Support for admin users

Requirements:

• OSX, Win7, Active Directory, Exchange, Terminal Services
• Minimum 3 years Windows system administration experience
• Solid grasp of storage/networking concepts and techniques
• Proven team player with good analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Experience with Linux would be a plus
• Filemaker knowledge an advantage
• Scripting in bash, batch, powershell, VB etc. would also be useful but not essential
